Yanni Marmarou leads the Marmarou Team, investment sales experts who focus on the commercial real estate market in the northern New Jersey market.

Since joining the firm, he has been involved in a number of complex land transactions involving mixed-use developments, industrial sales and multi-family assets. In addition, he has been actively involved in a number of distressed loan sale transactions for a number of CMBS special servicers.

Prior to joining B6, Yanni founded the Collective Real Estate, a boutique CRE brokerage firm. His previous work experience included assisting IndiKitch (now Deep Kitchen) in acquiring their flagship location next to Eataly in the Flatiron District, 1372 Broadway and assisting with the planning on 601 8th Avenue. He was instrumental in bringing the Michelin star award winning restaurant Don Angie to the West Village. He represented the “The Up and Up”, a high-end mixology cocktail concept, in developing 116 MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village and subsequently their follow up concept, "Stay Gold" in Kips Bay. He also represented the highly-acclaimed Piora restaurant at 430 Hudson Street, who received a Michelin Star in 2014. Subsequently after leasing the property, he sold the mixed-use building on behalf of the landlord for one of the highest price-per-square-foot sales in the West Village market in 2013.

Previous to opening his firm, Yanni spent over three years at Robert K. Futterman and Associates and six years as a Real Estate Underwriter/Associate with The Value Research Group, Joseph Blake & Associates, and HFF (now Jones Lang La Salle).

Yanni earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Urban Planning from the Bloustein School at Rutgers University, graduating with High Honors. He also earned a Graduate Degree from New York University’s Schack Real Estate Institute. He is a licensed broker in the states of New York and New Jersey.
